About Our Edible Garden

Our edible garden is part of inventing a way of life that's sustainable, but also satisfying. And what could be more satisfying than healthy, nutritious food? It's also very satisfying to know where it's been (right in our own back yard) and that it's safe and healthy.

It's also interesting to know how our plants grow—that carrots and potatoes develop in the ground, that asparagus develops into tall ferny plants, that brussel sprouts develop along the sides of a tall, sturdy stalk. Many people don't know these things any more!

We're especially interested in helping our grandchildren learn about edible gardening.
