Growing fruits

Currants ©Janet AllenFruits, such as these currants, are beautiful as well as delicious

We love the fruits we grow. They're not only delicious, but are very ornamental, too.

Although we have most of these planted in our vegetable garden area, they'd very much be appreciated in an edible landscape (though in the rest of our yard, we like to provide habitat for other creatures).

We grow TREES with fruits, such as pears, cherries, plums, and apples.

We grow fruit on BUSHES such as blueberries, currants, gooseberries, and elderberries.

We have one fruit VINE: grapes.

We grow BRAMBLES such as raspberries and blackberries.

And finally, we grow HERBACEOUS fruits, such as rhubarb and ground cherries.
